I used to own the domain http://artofasm.com.
While on vacation, it expired and a spammer grabbed it before I noticed it was in need of renewal. Oh well.
I’ve added the subdomain “artofasm” to randallhyde.com. So you can now easily access all the original Webster material at http://artofasm.randallhyde.com/
How do I get the cdrom files that go with the 1st edition of the art of assembly language? I look forward to your new book.
You can find all the files here:
https://www.randallhyde.com/AssemblyLanguage/HighLevelAsm/index.html
Most of the material can be found here:
https://www.randallhyde.com/AssemblyLanguage/www.artofasm.com/index.html
or here:
https://www.plantation-productions.com/Webster/index.html
Sorry it’s not organized as the original CD-ROM was.

what Editor to use to write the code, i have trouble installing HLA in windows.
Any text editor will work fine as long as it creates pure ASCII text files.
notepad++ is a common (free) choice.
